New Cathedral rings

For the last few weeks, I have been working on a new range for Wolf and Badger (as well as my shop) which will come out at the end of the year. 

I have been channeling inspiration once again from beautiful old cathedrals such as Notre-Dame. 

I have been posting photographs of the construction process on my instagram which you can take a look at. 

I thought this was a pretty cool picture.

NEW RINGS

This week I went down to Hobart for a few days and stayed on the grounds at MONA.

I took some great photographs of my jewellery which I will post at a later day.

Here is a sneak peek.

The first ring is available on my website. It has a centre Amethyst and two garnets claw set, surrounded by Fleur de Lis with a split shank - see here.

Fleur De Lis

Lately I have been working on a new range of rings.

This Posy ring has a beautiful pink crystal which I had cut hovering above a bed of roses.

A milder take on my earlier 'Let Them Eat Cake' collection, this 9ct yellow gold ring has two crouching cherubs and in the center a princess cut blue topaz.

With a central Amethyst and two garnets, this colour pallet creates a stunningly moody hue on the finger.

Containing two garnets and a blue topaz, this 9ct yellow gold ring reminds me of something very royal..

I have lots more to come - each unique and beautiful in it's own way.

An artistic inspiration: Singing Bird Pistols Circa 1815

These pistols are amazing mechanical works of art. Made in Geneva in the 1800's, only four others are known to exist in the world. Consisting of gold, pearls, diamonds and several hundred screws, levers and gears, upon pulling the trigger, a tiny bird pops out of the end of the barrel and sings and flutters about.
